AFKAR program, funded by the European Union and managed by the Office of the Minister of State for Administrative Reform, organized a four-day workshop (on 20-21 and 27-28 March 2018) under the title "Monitoring and evaluation in projects and programs". Attendees were managers and some of the ministry staff.

The workshop, conducted by the expert at the technical assistance team, Rodolphe Gabriel, aimed to exchange experiences, to enhance capacities in the management of projects and to support the management based on results. Participatory methodology and practical approaches were adopted. This workshop highlighted the ways of analyzing risks and determining assumptions. It also focused on monitoring and evaluation techniques in order to analyze the improvement of the projects and assess their impact.

This event was characterized by a high level of interaction and efficiency. It led to the enhancement of work on common concepts regarding the techniques, aiming to ensure the success of projects in various steps.  Afterwards, an  individual support will be provided to the participants.

This workshop is part of several activities organized by AFKAR aiming to build a bridge, based on a dialogue between civil society organizations and the public sector.
