Project Title: Young Journalists Activists To Promote Dialogue Between Religions

The project aims to actively engage young journalists in raising the awareness of Lebanese citizens about the necessity of dialogue between religions; encourage different constituents of Lebanese youth in communicating their ideas and opinions regarding religion; create a sustained platform for youth dialogue between religions.

- Project Title: Educational and Social Missions For Youth Below the Age of 16 For Reaching Harmony Among the Different Elements of Society in Lebanon

- Project Duration : 24 months

The project aims to raise the awareness of the future Lebanese citizens on the necessity of dialogue, harmony, and unity of the Lebanese people. It launches an educational center in Taanaail, which welcomes young people from all the regions. Specific activities will be organized in this camp, thus promoting contact and cultural exchanges among the children of neighboring villages through gatherings and social activities.

Hewarna aims to create an environment for constructive dialogue and improved communication between Lebanese youths of different political and religious leanings by arranging dialogue series and equipping them with skills they need to do so successfully.  Organize groups of various inter-sectarian youth groups to participate in the center’s activities that develop their leadership, communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills. Organize youth dialogue series with specific issues on the agenda such as the environment, the political process or human rights

- Project Title: Young People Talk

- Project Duration : 12 months

The project aims to turn regional associations into players that promote and support dialogue among young people who come from various backgrounds. It consists of organizing exchanges among 75 young people hailing from different communities thanks to the support of 5 municipalities and 10 associations from 5 regions, which allowed young people to access dialogue platforms and reinforced the capacity of young people to produce and distribute art material to 2000 other young people/children.

The project aims to promote values of diversity and non-discrimination among the Lebanese youth and expand the knowledge of the direct beneficiaries about issues related to difference and discrimination and about the values and potentials of diversity, tolerance, acceptance and interaction with the other; expanding their understanding of the Lebanese social context, its constraints and potential in the building of a democratic society; empowering them with the skills required to design and implement awareness campaigns and to lobby for a cause; familiarizing them with the use of art as a means of expression and as a means for promoting awareness of rights; building a network of young people interested in working together on issues of discrimination and difference through the website, an itinerant exhibition and beyond.

The project aims to create inter-communal youth groups for dialogue, sharing, and activities for one objective: drug prevention through the use of innovative tools and methods. It therefore aims to fight the use of drugs in the Lebanese society through the creation of innovative prevention tools and means.

Project Title: Let’s Talk

The project aims to promote dialogue amongst young people by giving them opportunities to discuss important issues and encourage them to exchange ideas and views; raise awareness on the importance of co-operation, tolerance and respect of others; introduce the children to their basic rights with an emphasis on Article 13 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child; provide the participants with opportunities of self - expression and encourage them to talk about their beliefs and values; enhance the creativity and talents of participants; produce an educational resource that would be used for future similar activities.

- Project Title: The Baldati National E-dialogue (BNED)

- Project Duration : 12 months

The project aims to create a youth community able to promote inter-communal communication and dialogue between displaced-locals-emigrants by using (www.baldati.com) as a Regional Media Tool for e-dialogue; train youth to use the regional media tool provided by Baldati.com as a way to discuss their ideas and express themselves; train managers from each village (or city) able to train others in future and to manage their native village’s website; promote a virtual space (www.baldati.com ), reachable from almost any house nowadays, to express and discuss ideas and projects; promote knowledge on Lebanese society and constituents between youth as well as their rights and obligations towards their country.
