The technical workshops aim tobuild the productivity and skills of the beneficiaries in the areas of carpentry, ironwork, plumbing, electrical work and recycling.

This Project will help former residents in finding sustainable jobs through training sessions that suit their aspirations and develop their abilities. The program also helps residents at the rehabilitation center to rebuild balanced lives at all levels.

Through facilitating exchange of knowledge, greater collaboration, respect for the environment and using the logic of ‘local responses to local problems,’ and while ensuring equal access for men and women to the facilities, Oum el nour and Chreek aim to meet the needs of the beneficiaries over this two years project. Together both NGOs will strive to enable the men and women in finding a place in society and becoming a real added value to their communities.
This integrated program of socio-professional reinsertion specifically designed for substance abusers is a pilot project that may extend to other rehabilitation centers in Lebanon, thereby opening up opportunities for collaboration with other structures.
